Top architectural designs for Koidu Street presented to the public

In July last year, Tallinn announced a public architectural competition seeking concepts for Koidu Street as both a residential street and the main street of the Uus Maailm district. Today at 6 PM, a presentation of the top five architectural proposals for the competition will be held at Tallinna Humanitaargümnaasium (Koidu Street 97), aiming to involve local residents in the discussion before the jury makes its final decision.

Tallinn and the Estonian Convention Bureau honor the best conference organizers of the year

Last night, the 2023 Conference Achievement of the Year was announced at Fotografiska where Tallinn Deputy Mayor Joosep Vimm and Chairman of the Estonian Convention Bureau Ott Sarapuu acknowledged the past year's most outstanding conference organizers, highlighting 27 events that generated an estimated benefit of over 9.5 million euros to the city and Estonia's economy.

Kullo Hobby School's new building will become a community center

On February 12, the new building project for Tallinn's Kullo Hobby Center was presented to the public in the hall of the Kristiine District Government. The future Kullo will become a modern community center, combining a hobby school, youth center, and the first library in the district under one roof.

City accepted 21 Test in Tallinn projects

At the beginning of last year, Tallinn launched the Test in Tallinn programme, initiated by Mayor Mihhail Kõlvart, inviting companies to test new technologies in urban spaces and systems. The focus was on tests in urban mobility, renewable energy and energy saving. To date, a total of 37 test project applications have been received, of which 21 have been accepted.
