Song and Dance Celebration to bring temporary traffic changes

To ensure the smooth organization of the XXVIII Song and XXI Dance Celebration “Iseoma” next week, the City of Tallinn is implementing several temporary changes to traffic and public transportation to ensure safe and convenient movement for participants and guests. The main impacts on traffic will be caused by the procession, dance performances, and concerts at the Song Festival Grounds. Medical assistance during Midsummer holidays

During the upcoming extended holiday period, Tallinn residents in need of medical care can turn to the emergency departments of local hospitals. Tallinn Dental Clinic and on-duty pharmacies will remain open, and the family doctor advisory line will also be available.

More urban planning decisions made in Tallinn as process becomes faster

Tallinn’s Urban Planning Department has significantly increased the speed and efficiency of planning procedures in the first half of 2025. As of mid-year, decisions have been made on a total of 44 detailed plans — the same number as in the entire year of 2023 and 20 more than during the same period in 2024.

Tallinnovation awards €145,000 for smart city solutions and international breakthroughs

The City of Tallinn and Tehnopol have awarded a total of €145,000 to six Estonian companies through the Tallinnovation competition to develop and test innovative smart city solutions in Tallinn’s urban space. Tallinnovation is more than just a testing ground – it is a growth platform where technologies that create new quality in the urban environment and aim for the global market are born.
