Fraudulent emails target Tallinn schools with false claims about public transport changes

This week, educational institutions in the city of Tallinn have been targeted by emails falsely claiming to be from the Tallinn Transport Department and City Government. These messages urge schools to inform parents that the upcoming changes to the public transport network this fall are driven by cost-saving measures and low public transport usage by students. The emails also suggest finding alternative bus routes for children to get to school or to use personal transport where possible. This information is misleading, confusing, and not true.

Extension planned for hotel at Balti jaam station

The Tallinn City Government approved a detailed plan today for a property located at the corner of Kopli and Vana-Kalamaja streets in Põhja-Tallinn. The proposed solution is now moving to public display and discussion. The plan allows for an extension of the existing three-story hotel, adding up to five stories, and includes plans for improving the surrounding urban space.

Film shoots to affect traffic over the coming weeks

Münchhausen Productions OÜ will be conducting film shoots on September 9, 11, 16, 17, and 18 in the Kesklinn, Lasnamäe, and Nõmme districts. These shoots will cause temporary road closures for both vehicles and pedestrians. Traffic controllers will be present at all locations to assist local residents and other commuters.
