This September, Estonia will host a rare basketball spectacle: the Japanese top-league club Yokohama B-Corsairs, featuring Estonian national team star Maik-Kalev Kotsar, and the newly crowned Polish champions Warsaw Legia, coached by Heiko Rannula, will play a series of pre-season exhibition games in Estonia. Their opponents will include each other as well as Estonia’s top clubs BC Kalev/Cramo and Tartu Ülikool Maks & Moorits.

On Wednesday, 27 August, Mustamäe Männi Park will transform into a real Olympic village, where everyone can find an activity they enjoy. From 4 to 7 August, Tallinn will host the 57th International Children’s Games (ICG). Recognised by the International Olympic Committee, the ICG is the world’s largest multi-sport event for 12–15-year-olds, where teams representing cities compete against each other.

Europe’s leading street sports and culture platform “Ghetto Games” invites everyone to experience the most athletic festival of the summer in Estonia’s capital, Tallinn, on July 12–13. For two days, Freedom Square in the city center will be transformed into a vibrant arena for street basketball, street football, dance and fight shows, as well as contests and various activities. The festival is organized in collaboration with the Tallinn City Government and will bring together participants from over 10 countries.

From 12 to 16 May, 32 guided running sessions took place in Tallinn, the European Capital of Sport, attracting nearly 700 movement enthusiasts.

In April, European Sports Capital Tallinn organized two hikes that brought together nearly a thousand participants.
