With the ongoing heatwave, it is important to remember that higher temperatures require bigger water consumption. There are dozens of public water taps in Tallinn where anyone can get clean drinking water for free.

Six months of Museum Sundays: many new visitors to Tallinn's museums

In March this year, Tallinn launched a free Museum Sundays initiative at city-owned museums to raise awareness of museum activities and improve access to culture. In half a year, the initiative has attracted a large number of visitors, with a record 9180 museum-goers visiting the museums on Museum Day in August.

Tallinn Old City Harbour tramway to be completed by February 2025

Today, the City of Tallinn signed a design and construction contract with Merko Ehitus Eesti AS and KMG Inseneriehituse AS for the construction of a tram line connecting Tallinn Old City Harbour and the future Ülemiste Terminal. The cost of the contract is €36.5 million plus VAT, and the construction works are due in February 2025.

Part of Paldiski Road to be closed due Tallinn Open Triathlon on Sunday

Due to the Tallinn Open Triathlon that will be held in the vicinity of Lake Harku, the section of Paldiski Road from the shore of Lake Harku (Paldiski Road 124a) up to the city limit will be closed on Sunday, 24 July from 9.30 am to 5.50 pm. At the same time, the trajectory of the bus lines 27, 36, 61 and 62 will change from 10 am to 6 pm.
