Yesterday, on 4 May, the general meeting of the Estonian Security Companies Association (ETEL) took place in the environmental education centre of Tallinn Zoo, where the best of the year in the security market were recognised as well. Beaches for disabled persons that were created under the leadership of the city of Tallinn were recognised as worthy of the title "Deed of the Year 2022".

From Monday, 1 May, Bolt will set the maximum speed of electric scooters in the centre of Tallinn as 20 km/h on most streets as opposed to the previous 25 km/h. This is a pilot project born in cooperation with the Tallinn City Government and the police. The purpose is to calm traffic and monitor the change in traffic behaviour.

Fifteen thousand euros will be allocated from the reserve fund of Tallinn City Government to the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra to support Tallinn’s sister city Odessa and keep the tradition of Ukraine’s largest classical music festival ‘Odessa Classics’ alive in Tallinn.

The Tallinn City Government decided during today’s meeting that seven locations in Old Town will be leased out to Ringo Eco OÜ, a business specialising in green technology. The aim of this cooperation is to conduct a month-long pilot project to test the collection of reusable packaging in Old Town.
