The Tallinn city government has submitted the proposal for the second supplementary budget for 2024 to the City Council, which aims to adjust planned expenses, revenues, investments, and financial transactions within the city's budget.

This winter, the City of Tallinn will increase its snow clearing operations on sidewalks in the Kesklinn and Põhja-Tallinn districts, while maintaining the usual scope in other districts.

During the autumn school holiday, school stadiums and sports fields in Tallinn will be open to residents for free daily exercise from 10 am to 6 pm. The sports areas are equipped with inventory boxes, offering balls available for on-site use.

Today, on October 21, changes to the second phase of the modernization of Tallinn's public transport network have come into effect. The goal of these changes is to improve connections between city districts and provide more convenient transfer options. A total of 15 bus routes will be affected by the changes.

Tallinn, as the European Capital of Sport 2025, aims to generate positive and lasting value throughout its title year, encouraging residents to be more active and lead healthier lives.

The Õismäe Pool is now equipped with a lifting device designed to help people with mobility impairments easily access the pool. The device was purchased and installed with support from the Tallinn Social and Healthcare Department’s Accessibility Fund.

On October 16, the Lilleküla Circular Economy Center (located at Mustjõe 40) was officially opened, marking the first of its kind in both Tallinn and Estonia. The center offers residents the opportunity to sort their waste and repair items.
