Free legal advice days in Mustamäe and Lasnamäe this May

The City of Tallinn offers residents free legal advice on scheduled advice days, which occur in each district according to a set timetable. The next sessions will take place on May 16 from 9:00 to 13:00 in Mustamäe and on May 30 from 9:00 to 14:00 in the Lasnamäe district government offices.

Celebrate Europe Day at Freedom Square in Tallinn

On May 1 this year, Estonia marked 20 years as a member of both the European Union and NATO. In celebration, a concert titled "Our Europe. Our NATO" will take place on Europe Day, May 9, at Freedom Square in Tallinn, featuring artists such as Bedwetters, nublu, Gameboy Tetris, and Tommy Cash. The concert, running from 19:30 to 21:00, will also be broadcast on ETV and ETV+ channels.

Construction of water and heating pipelines may disrupt traffic on Sõpruse puiestee

Construction work on water and district heating pipelines is ongoing until the end of June in the Kristiine district, specifically along Käbliku and Koskla streets and the section of Sõpruse puiestee between them. Work on Käbliku Street began on May 6. From May 13 to June 3, the bus lane on Sõpruse puiestee heading towards the city centre will be closed, and Koskla Street will be partially closed (near buildings No. 16, 18, and 22).

Historic clipper ship Cutty Sark invites guests to the Tall Ships Races at the airport

Starting today, a model of the world-famous and historically fastest merchant ship, the Cutty Sark, has been displayed in the passenger area of Tallinn Airport. This initiative is a collaborative effort between the organizers of the Tall Ships Races Tallinn 2024 and the Estonian Maritime Museum. The ship model, alongside information about the Tall Ships Races, invites people to visit Tallinn’s three harbors from July 11-14 to participate in the world's largest sail training regatta.

Tallinn begins development of city property management and development plan

This week marked the start of the process to create a strategic plan for Tallinn’s real estate, led by the Tallinn Property Department and involving representatives from all city sectors. The development of this plan is guided by the “Tallinn 2035” strategy and aims for prudent and sustainable management of city property.
