From the evening of Friday, May 3, at 20.00 until the end of Sunday, May 5, tram service between Kopli and the city centre will be temporarily suspended. During this period, tram lines 1, 2, and 5 will be replaced by shuttle bus line 52 on the segment between Kopli and Mere puiestee. This suspension is due to construction work at the temporary Linnahall stop and the tram turnaround loop at the Skoone Bastion stadium.

The construction of the Old City Harbour tramway along Põhja puiestee near Linnahall is set to disrupt tram services to Kopli from May 3 until mid-August. During the first weekend of May, tram lines No. 1, 2, and 5 will be out of service. From May 6, a temporary tram line No. 1 will operate between Kopli and Linnahall stops.

Construction work on the Old City Harbour tramway resumes today in the city centre, resulting in traffic management changes around the Linnahall intersection and Ahtri Street. Traffic regulators will manage critical intersections. Several bus lines are rerouted starting today, while tram lines No. 1, 2, and 5 will operate as usual until the evening of May 3.

As part of the Old City Harbour tramway construction, the urban space solution for Laikmaa Street is set to introduce a balanced mobility environment, more greenery, and convenient public transport infrastructure.

Construction on the Old City Harbor tramway will continue on March 4, and construction at the Tondi railway crossing will begin on March 15. The continuation of construction work will lead to changes in traffic and public transport routes.

On Wednesday, December 6, the segment of Gonsiori Street between Reimani and Laikmaa streets will reopen to city centre-bound vehicle traffic, restoring routes to Estonia Boulevard. This section had been closed since April due to the construction of the Old City Harbour tramway. The reopening of this segment, along with the earlier opening of major nearby intersections, significantly improves traffic in the city centre.
