Yesterday, the international sailing training regatta, Tall Ships Races Tallinn 2024, concluded with a historic maritime parade in the three harbors of Tallinn. Both the Tall Ships Races vessels and those participating in the Muhu Väina regatta joined forces for an impressive display on the bay of Tallinn.

The second day of the international sailing training regatta, The Tall Ships Races Tallinn, offered visitors an exciting parade of sailing trainees and ship crews, along with performances by well-known Estonian artists across all three harbors.

On Thursday morning, 60 large and small sailing ships of the international sailing training regatta Tall Ships Races arrived at three ports in Tallinn. The event opened with the concert "Lainel" („On the wave“) which was specifically created for this opening.

This week, from July 11 to 14, the Tall Ships Races Tallinn 2024 maritime festival will highlight accessibility for people with special needs. Various performances, tours, and other events have been specifically adapted to be accessible. Additionally, a guide will be developed to ensure accessibility at future cultural events.

This year, Tallinn hosts and organizes the world's largest sail training regatta, Tall Ships Races, taking place from July 11-14 at Lennusadam, Noblessner Harbour, and the Old City Harbour Cruise Area. The grand maritime festival features a rich and varied children’s program.

Over the course of four days, the harbors will be filled with a festive atmosphere – visitors can explore sailing ships, enjoy performances by Estonia’s top artists, and participate in activities both on land and at sea.

Tallinn is supporting 11 cultural events with a total of 20,000 euros as part of the Culture Night (Kultuuriöö) festival on August 30. This year's Culture Night, titled "Endless Horizons," highlights alternative cultural forms.

Musical ensembles from Tallinn, a UNESCO City of Music, will perform three concerts in Tartu, the European Capital of Culture 2024. The Tallinn Chamber Orchestra will perform in Tartu on May 26, and the Tallinn Police Orchestra will perform in Räpina on May 23 and in Võru on October 6.

Today, May 18, the festivities for Tallinn Day continue, celebrating 776 years since the acquisition of Lubeck Law. Events last all day and culminate in the evening with the free concert-performance "Diverse City" in Toompea Park, followed by an afterparty at Patarei Sea Fortress.
