The speed limits will be lowered on Tallinn's streets to ensure safer traffic. The maximum speed allowed will be 30 km/h on a number of inner district roads and 40 km/h on some of the larger streets in the city centre.
From Friday, 15 July until 14 September, passengers may travel free of charge in Mustamäe by self-driving shuttle on the inner district roads between Mustamäe tee, Tammsaare tee and Ehitajate tee.

Today, the City of Tallinn signed a design and construction contract with Merko Ehitus Eesti AS and KMG Inseneriehituse AS for the construction of a tram line connecting Tallinn Old City Harbour and the future Ülemiste Terminal. Today, on 21 February, the new building of Tallinn Rõõmupesa kindergarten (A. H. Tammsaare tee 141) was officially opened in Mustamäe district. The building, which has ten classrooms, can accommodate up to 240 children. The nursery has recreation classes, a gym, a hall and a study room.
