Photo Contest "A Year in Tallinn 2021" is Open for Entries
Tallinn announced the traditional photo contest "A Year in Tallinn 2021", which is open for entries from February 15 until September 15.
Construction of Tallinn Zoo's Tiigriorg starts in July
The City of Tallinn has signed a contract for the construction of the Tiigriorg (Tiger Valley) exhibition in Tallinn Zoo with the joint contractor ATEMO OÜ/EG Ehitus AS. The works will start in the second half of July, after the end of the timber harvest halt due to breeding season.
Tallinn asks residents to voice their opinions on the architectural plans for the Old Port area
Tallinn City Government and the Tallinn Urban Planning Department have put out for public consultation four preliminary plans for the Old Harbour area, which are open for comments until 12 January. There will also be an outdoor public exhibition next to the Admiralty Bridge, showing the nature of the plans and the proposed buildings.
Construction work on second phase of Vanasadama tram line to divert 27 bus lines
On Tuesday, 4 April, the second phase of the Vanasadam tram line construction work will begin and with that, Hobujaama Street and half of Laikmaa Street in the direction of Gonsiori Street will be closed. Narva mnt and the Hobujaama intersection will remain open. The construction work will cause changes to 27 bus line routes.
Vanasadama tramline construction temporarily halts tram lines 2 and 4
The construction of the new tram line in Tallinn’s City Centre is stopping the operation of tram lines 2 and 4 from 17 April to 2 July.
