On 10 September, Tallinn’s Sustainability Governance Hub – in collaboration with the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre – hosted a hybrid peer learning session to explore the “why, what, how and with whom” of Voluntary Local Reviews – a growing global movement where cities and regions report progress on the 2030 Agenda and Sustainable Development Goals.
The City of Tallinn is offering residents free legal consultations on designated legal advice days scheduled across various districts. Following a summer break, the next legal advice days will be held on September 5 from 1 pm to 6 pm in the Lasnamäe district administration, and on September 19 from 1 pm to 6 pm in the Kristiine district administration.
Tallinn has advanced to the semifinals of the 10th European Innovation Capital (iCapital) competition, being the only capital city to make it this far. The winner of the competition will receive a prestigious title along with a €1 million prize to further develop innovation.
Tomorrow, on the evening of August 30 at 18:00 , Tallinn will host the vibrant Kultuuriöö (Culture Night) event, this time under the theme "Boundless Horizons." Now in its eighth year, the festival highlights alternative cultural forms and brings young and lesser-known artists to the stage.
