Starting from 1 August, several bus line numbers and routes will be changed – the changes will affect lines number 8, 17, 17A, 35, 42, 43, 48, 67 and 68.
The Tallinn City Government plans to allocate more than 8.8 million euros in 2024 to support the transition to Estonian-language education. The measures include teacher training, recruitment of new teachers, methodological and motivational support for teachers, assistance for children transitioning to Estonian-language education, support and counseling for both parents and teachers, and the creation of an online learning environment.
The Tallinn Urban Environment and Public Works Department is set to construct sidewalks at 30 locations across the city, replacing informal trails or old paved sidewalks now in poor condition.
Due to filming activities, there will be short-term traffic stoppages of up to three minutes on Sunday morning, July 14, on Laagna tee, Veskiposti street, and at the Haabersti roundabout. Additionally, there will be stoppages on Pirita tee on Tuesday evening.
In Tallinn, the first 23 shelters were determined, the first of which – the car park under Freedom Square – was marked accordingly today. Such shelters can be accessed by people who happen to be on the streets nearby should we be unexpectedly hit by a crisis of any kind, from a natural disaster to a military threat.
