The proposed health trail in the Sütiste forest park on the border of Nõmme and Mustamäe will not be built. Further development of the Sütiste forest will be decided by the property's manager, the Estonian Environmental Board.
From this year, the City of Tallinn is paying a yearly €50 allowance to all primary, secondary and vocational school pupils at the start of the new school year. This a supplement to the existing €320 allowance for Tallinn children entering the first grade.

The residents of Tallinn can dispose of household hazardous waste in waste collection points. The Tallinn Waste Management Centre has six collection points for hazardous waste, which are open at weekends. The service is free of charge.
