From Monday 13 June, 14 school stadiums and 4 sports fields will be open to the public in Tallinn, free of charge. At least one school stadium will be opened in each district.
On Thursday in Männi park, Tallinn Deputy Mayor Vladimir Svet and Deputy Head of Tallinn Urban Environment and Public Works Department Tarmo Sulg presented the concept for planning and constructing the public toilets in urban space, and stressed that the city's priority is to gradually increase the share of permanent toilets.
On 24 April, the restoration works of public transport stops will begin in Tallinn, during which the asphalt concrete and concrete coverings of bus stops will be renovated, broken curb stones will be replaced and well covers will be fixed up. During the restoration works, 15 bus stops will be repaired.
The Tallinn City Government decided during today’s meeting that seven locations in Old Town will be leased out to Ringo Eco OÜ, a business specialising in green technology. The aim of this cooperation is to conduct a month-long pilot project to test the collection of reusable packaging in Old Town.

This Sunday, 7 May, the Contemporary Art Museum of Estonia will again participate in a free of charge Museum Sunday after being closed for the winter season. Due to construction works and various events, the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds Visitor Centre will not take part in the Museum Sundays until August.
This week, from 8-14 May, people residing in Tallinn according to the population register can drop off bulky waste, such as broken and unusable furniture, bicycles and baby prams, at the city's waste transfer stations for free.
Tallinn has been offering residents free legal advice since March. Consultation days are held in each district according to a schedule. The next consultation days are held from 9:00-18:00 on 11 May at the Kesklinna Social Centre and from 9:00-18:00 on 25 May at the Haabersti Leisure Centre.
