Tallinn City Government sent a draft regulation to the city council. If approved, Tallinn will support international conferences that are held off-season.
Tallinn Mayor Mihhail Kõlvart will today participate in the international conference "Champion Cities Summit 2023: Champions Think Bold" in Vilnius, which will open the events and celebrations of Vilnius' 700th anniversary week.
The first round of international conference grants will support nine conferences with more than €100 000. While last year was a record year for domestic tourism in the capital, outbound tourism is still recovering and has not yet reached the number of visitors in 2019.

Tallinn ranked 17th out of 195 cities in the world in the Numbeo Quality of Life Index 2024. The category assesses a range of factors affecting the quality of life, including purchasing power, pollution, housing affordability, cost of living, safety and climate conditions.
Tallinn continues to develop its trolleybus network, with the reconstruction of the trolleybus network infrastructure and the acquisition of 40 new battery-powered trolleybuses planned over the next five to six years. The city government instructed AS Tallinna Linnatransport to start preparations for the necessary procurement.
