Four innovative solutions were selected from this year’s application round of the Tallinnovation smart city competition, organized in cooperation of the Science Park Tehnopol and the City of Tallinn. The winners were road safety sensors, solar-powered luminaries, drones for rescue operations and an innovative package recycling solution.
The 18th Tallinn Entrepreneurship Day took place on Tuesday 28 September and included more than 40 events dedicated to participants ranging from brand new entrepreneurs to senior executives. In total, 2000 people attended the seminars in person and online. This year’s Tallinn Entrepreneurship Day was a hybrid event – selected seminars were streamed online, but the main programme took place in person. This was made possible with the help of 40 partners.

The MELT Innovation Forum, which was cancelled last spring due to the coronavirus pandemic, will take place virtually this year on the 12th of May and, for the first time, will be free of charge for all participants. The forum can be followed online at www.melt.ee.
