On October 5, Tallinn, the European Capital of Sport 2025, organized a cycling tour in cooperation with the neighboring municipalities of Rae, Kiili, Saku, and Saue.
Sports enthusiasts gathered on a sunny Saturday near Peetri School, where more than 150 cyclists embarked on a 25-kilometer adventure following a greeting from Tallinn’s mayor, Jevgeni Ossinovski.
In each municipality, a short stop was made during which Tallinn's mayor presented the local representative with a chessboard and invited them to participate in European Sports Capital events next year.
At the finish line in Saue, the Karl-Erik Taukar Band performed a musical show.
The European Capital of Sport Tallinn thanks the municipalities of Rae, Kiili, Saku, and Saue for their cooperation and looks forward to welcoming them to its events next year.
