European Capital of Sport Cycling Tour
Tallinn, the European Capital of Sport 2025, is inviting cycling enthusiasts to join a relaxing bike tour through neighboring municipalities on Saturday, October 5. The 25-kilometer ride will follow a route through Rae, Kiili, Saku, and Saue parishes, with a steady, easy pace for riders of all levels.
The ride starts at 11:00 am at Peetri School, and the finish line is at the Saue Song Festival Grounds, where participants will arrive around 2:00 pm
At the finish, the Karl-Erik Taukar Band will perform live, starting at 2:15 pm, providing a great atmosphere for all cyclists and spectators.
While the official start is at Peetri School, riders are welcome to join along the route. There’s an official joining point at the Saku Ski Lodge, where a service station will be set up, and the group is expected to arrive there around 12:30 pm.
The group will stay together for the entire ride, following the instructions of the event marshals. The route will not be marked, so please stick with the group.
At the finish, all participants will receive a commemorative gift from European Capital of Sports and have a chance to win one of three bicycles in a prize draw.
Participation is free.
Schedule:
• 10:15 am – Gathering at Peetri School parking lot
• 11:00 am – Ride begins at Peetri School
• 12:30 pm – Riders arrive at the official joining point, Saku Ski Lodge
• 2:00 pm – Arrival at the Saue Song Festival Grounds
