Call for feedback: share your thoughts on the Pelguranna tram line

Tallinn is planning to build a new Pelguranna tram line to create a faster and more convenient connection between Põhja-Tallinn and the city center. From March 4 to 25, all interested parties can share their opinions on the project’s planning conditions via the Pelguranna tram website. These conditions will define the key requirements and guidelines for the construction of the tramway.

Tallinn adopts noise reduction action plan

The City of Tallinn has developed an action plan to reduce environmental noise in public spaces. By law, the city must mitigate noise levels exceeding set limits to ensure a healthy living environment for residents while also preventing noise from hindering economic activity.

The processing of detailed plans in Tallinn has become faster and more transparent

In 2024, the Tallinn Urban Planning Department continued implementing organizational changes that have resulted in a faster and higher-quality processing of detailed plans. The initiation process has been simplified, the register has been updated, and a management dashboard has been introduced, providing a systematic foundation for identifying and addressing bottlenecks.

Old Town streets to be transformed into a modern urban space

Tallinn is set to upgrade Apteegi, Kooli, and Gümnaasiumi streets in the Old Town. The renovation will include the reconstruction of district heating pipelines in collaboration with Utilitas, as well as upgrades to water supply and sewerage systems in cooperation with Tallinna Vesi.
