European Capital of Sport Figure Skating Gala
The gala will serve as the finale of an ice sports day starting at 10:00, where you can take part in hockey and curling training, ice skating lessons with Saskia Alusalu and ice skating disco.
Petrykina, who is preparing for the World Figure Skating Championships, will be supported at the gala by rising stars for Estonia. Arlet Levandi, who finished eighth in the individual event at the recently concluded World Junior Championships, and was gold medallist at the 2022 European Youth Olympic Festival, will be on the ice with his own show programme.
Among the athletes competing at the Junior World Championships are ice dancers Ksenia Sipunova and Miron Korjagin, singles athletes Elina Goidina and Vladislav Churakov and Estonia's only pair skaters: Maia Tishchenkova and Nikita Fedosov.
Audiences will also be able to relive the European Championships Gala, where skaters of different ages took to the ice. The group dance will be performed by young athletes aged 12-13. The whole gala is put together by coach Lea Rand.
The European Capital of Sport Figure Skating Gala is free for spectators.

An elegant figure skating gala brings performances from Estonia's top skaters and rising stars. The audience will have the opportunity to see the show programme of the new European champion Niina Petrykina. Skating lesson with Saskia Alusalu
The training will be led by Saskia Alusalu, an internationally recognized Estonian speed skater who placed fourth at the 2018 Olympic Games.
The session will take place on a rink suitable for hockey, figure skating, and short-track speed skating, providing excellent conditions for learning the basics of speed skating. No special skates are required, but participants with speed skates are always welcome.
The training will focus on key aspects of speed skating – maintaining balance, proper body posture, and speed development. The goal is to introduce participants to the sport, provide practical tips for improvement, and, most importantly, spark a passion for skating.
The session is suitable for both beginners and experienced skaters looking to refine their technique and improve their performance.

Curling training
Curling sessions will start with an introductory ABC lesson, followed by gameplay using professional equipment.
The training sessions will be led by members of Estonia’s national women’s curling team, including Erika Tuvike, Heili Grossmann, Kerli Laidsalu, and captain Liisa Turmann, as well as the national men’s team captain Eduard Veltsman.
The curling training is also suitable for wheelchair users, and younger sports enthusiasts can enjoy a mini curling track set up at Tondiraba Ice Hall.

Ice hockey training
Hockey training will begin with exercises on mats. Once on the ice, participants will practice skating with directional changes and stick handling, concluding with a fun match.
